​Sales Policy & Waitlist

Little Giants Rabbitry Sales Policy

Welcome to Little Giants Rabbitry! We take great pride in our animals and want to ensure they go to loving, knowledgeable homes. Please read our sales policy carefully before committing to a purchase.

General Information

  • Age and Health: Rabbits are typically ready for their new homes around 8–12 weeks of age, once fully weaned and robust. All rabbits sold are guaranteed to be healthy and free of disease at the time they leave our rabbitry. We are not responsible for the rabbit's health once it leaves our care, as environmental stress and new management can affect animals differently.

  • Documentation: All purebred rabbits come with a full, three-generation pedigree and transition feed.

  • ARBA Standard: We breed to the ARBA Standard of Perfection and strive for correctness in type and color; however, we cannot guarantee an animal will place in a show. They are sold "as is."

Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing: Prices are subject to change based on the rabbit's quality, pedigree, and potential show merits.

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $20 is required to hold a rabbit. The remainder of the balance is due in cash upon pickup. We do not accept checks at pickup.

  • Payment Methods: Deposits can be made via, PayPal.

  • Holds: We do not hold any animal without a deposit.

Pickup and Transportation

  • Pickup Location: All rabbits must be picked up in person at our location in Oscoda, Michigan unless we agree otherwise 

  • Timing: Pickup must be arranged within 7 days of the rabbit being ready for its new home (or the agreed-upon date). If the animal is not picked up within this timeframe, and without prior arrangement, the deposit is forfeited and the rabbit will be relisted for sale.

  • Transportation: Buyers must bring an appropriate, secure carrier for transport.

Our Commitment to You

As youth breeders, we are committed to ethical practices and transparent communication. We reserve the right to refuse a sale if we feel a buyer cannot provide an appropriate home for one of our rabbits. If we cancel a sale for this reason, the deposit will be refunded.

We are always happy to answer questions about our breeds and offer ongoing support and mentorship to new owners.

Wait List

Waitlist Information

Due to limited availability, a waitlist is used for all upcoming litters. All available rabbits are offered on a first-come, first-served basis to those on the waitlist once notifications are sent.

 

How It Works

    •    Email or text us to request a waitlist form.

    •    Complete the form and return it by email or text.

    •    When a litter becomes available for reservation (typically around 8–12 weeks of age), everyone on the waitlist will be notified by email.

    •    The notification will include photos, pricing, and instructions on how to reserve a specific rabbit.

    •    The first person to respond and submit a deposit secures their chosen rabbit.

    •    If you choose to pass on a litter or do not respond in time, you will remain on the waitlist for future availability.
